Biography
From the joiner's family. By specialty agricultural worker. March 24, 1950 joined the ranks of the people's police. At first he studied at the People's Police School in Primervald. After that, he commanded a platoon. In 1952 - 1955 he served as the chief of staff in the Service Institution of NP Stern Buchholz (Stabschef in der Volkspolizeidienststelle Stern Buchholz). Since 1954 - member of the SED . In 1956 - 1957 he was a student of officer courses at the Higher Officers School of the NNA GDR . In 1957-1958 he served in the intelligence subdivision at the headquarters of the 8th MSD in Schwerin (Leiter der Unterabteilung Aufklärung im Stab der 8. motorisierten Schützendivision in Schwerin), in 1958-1960 he himself headed the intelligence subdivision. In 1961 - 1964 he studied at the Military Academy of the NNA in Dresden . In 1964 - 1971 he commanded the 2nd SME. In 1971 - 1974 he studied at the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the USSR . After returning to the German Democratic Republic with a diploma of Doctor of Military Sciences (Dr. rer. Mil.), Tse received the post of deputy commander for combat training in the 11th MSD, stationed in Galle . From September 1, 1977 to April 30, 1984, he himself, in the rank of colonel, commanded this division. In both posts, his predecessor was Colonel Alfred Krause . October 7, 1979 , on the 30th anniversary of the founding of the GDR , he was introduced to the rank of Major General. In 1984 - 1990, Manfred Tse was the head of the ground forces section at the Military Academy of the NNA named after Friedrich Engels (Kommandeur der Sektion Landstreitkräfte). Immediately before the reunification of Germany on September 30, 1990, Tse was fired. Currently, he is a member of the Initiative Group for the Protection of the Social Rights of Former Servants of the Government and Customs of the GDR (ISOR, einer Initiativgemeinschaft zum Schutz der sozialen Rechte ehemaliger Angehöriger bewaffneter Organe und der Zollverwaltung der DDR eV).
