Distribution
Distributed in the western Palaearctic region from the Pyrenees to Transbaikalia .
Ecology
Adult beetles and their larvae feed on the leaves of the loosestrife loosestrife , also known as the placun grass ( Lythrum salicaria ) ( lacustrine ) [1] .
