Aphthona herbigrada (lat.) Is a species of leaf beetles ( Chrysomelidae ) from the subfamily of gables ( Galerucinae ). Distributed in Western , Southern and Southern Central Europe , as well as in Algeria . Adult beetles and their larvae feed on the leaves of the sunflower monotony ( Helianthemum nummularium ) ( frankincense ) [1] .
