Beskol ( Kazakh. Beskul ) is a village in the Alakol district of the Almaty region of Kazakhstan . It is part of the Beskolsky rural district. The KATO code is 193439200 [1] .

Population
In 1999, the population of the village was 3906 people (1913 men and 1993 women) [2] . According to the 2009 census , 3301 people lived in the village (1615 men and 1686 women) [2] .

Kazakhs prevail. There are two stadiums, a bazaar, a school, a train station.
Asphalted streets: School, Friendship and Peace, the nearest city of Usharal . The large village of Bulakty is located directly to the north and is separated from the village of Beskol by rail.
In 1971, 146 oddsbr formed the Main Directorate for Special Construction of the USSR Ministry of Defense ( GUSS MO ) and sent it to the construction of the Aktogay - Ucharal - Beskol - Koktuma - Druzhba highway, 373.5 kilometers long. The construction of the road and its facilities was completed in 1977.
In Beskol, one of the brigade units was deployed - military unit No. 12630 [4] .
