Mikhail Vasilyevich Tarasenko (born November 21, 1947 , Taganrog, Rostov Region ) is a Russian trade union, state and political figure. Member of the State Duma of V , VI and VII convocations. Member of the United Russia faction , First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans Affairs [1] .

Biography

In 1965 he received a secondary technical education after graduating from the Taganrog Metallurgical College. In 1974 he graduated from the All-Union Correspondence Polytechnic Institute . In 1989 he graduated from the Academy of Social Sciences under the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union [2] . In 2007 he graduated from graduate school. In 2007 he graduated from the graduate school with a degree in Economics and National Economy Management at the Academy of Labor and Social Relations, Ph.D. [3] .

From 1966 to 1968 he served in the Soviet Army, after demobilization, from 1968 he worked at the Taganrog Metallurgical Plant, went from master to chairman of the trade union committee. Since 1976 - at union work. In 1982, he worked in the Central Council of the Mining and Metallurgical Union of Russia as head of the department. department of labor protection, was later elected to the post of Secretary of the Central Council of the Mining and Metallurgical Union of Russia. From 1996 to 2012, he worked in the Mining and Metallurgical Union of Russia as chairman [4] [2] .

In 2007, he ran on the lists of "United Russia" in the State Duma, according to the results of the distribution of mandates, he became a deputy of the State Duma of the V convocation [5] .

In December 2011, he was again nominated by the lists of the United Russia party, and was elected to the VI State Duma by the election results [6] .

In September 2016, he was nominated from United Russia in the single-mandate constituency No. 115, and, following the results of the counting of votes, he was elected to the State Duma of the VII convocation [7] .

He is a member of the Executive Committee of the General Council of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia [8] .

According to income and property declarations, Mikhail Tarasenko earned 5,266,189 rubles in 2018. He owns a garden plot of land, an apartment and a residential building [9] .
