Content
History
Date of establishment not established. It was founded as a temporary settlement on the military lands of the Salsky District of the Don Army Region. According to the alphabetical list of the populated areas of the Region, the Don army in 1915 in the temporary settlement of Kamyshevo had 9 yards, 29 male and 28 female souls lived [2]
According to the 1926 All-Union Population Census, the Kamyshev farm belonged to the Kopansky Village Council of the Zimovnikovsky District of the Salsky District of the North Caucasus Region , 300 people lived in the farm, 178 of them were Great Russians , 107 were Ukrainians , 15 were Kalmyks [3] . During the period of collectivization, the collective farm “Salsky livestock breeder” was formed [4]
In May 1931, the Kamyshev farm was merged with the farms of Pogorelov, Kopanskaya, Krylov, Bryansk, Salsky into the Zimovnikovsky military stud farm No. 163. (since 1954, the Zimovnikovsky stud farm No. 163) [4] .
In October 1941, the evacuation of livestock began. In August 1942, the farm was occupied. Released on December 29, 1942 [4] .
In 1992, the breeding plant was transformed into the Federal State Unitary Enterprise PKZ Zimovnikovsky (Zimovnikovsky state hospital). Since 2007 - OJSC PKZ Zimovnikovsky. In 2007, it was divided into two farms: OJSC PKZ Zimovnikovsky and CJSC Agroplemkhoz.
Geography
The farm is located in the south of the Zimovnikovsky district within the Salsko-Manych ridge of the Ergeninsky Upland, which is part of the East European Plain , with the Kamyshev beam (left tributary of the Malaya Kuberle River ) [5] , at an altitude of 125 meters above sea level [6] . The terrain is hilly-flat, within the boundaries of the farm there is a pond [5] . Soils are dark chestnut solonetzic and solonchak soils [7] .
By road, the distance to Rostov-on-Don is 320 km, to the nearest city of Volgodonsk - 87 km, to the district center of the village of Zimovniki - 35 km [8] .
Climate
The climate is temperate continental (according to the Köppen-Geiger climate classification - Dfa ). The average annual air temperature is +9.2 ° C, the average temperature of the coldest month of January is -5.0 ° C, the hottest month of July is +23.5 ° C. The estimated long-term rainfall is 422 mm. The least amount of precipitation falls in March, April (27 mm each) and October (28 mm), the largest in June (47 mm) [6] .
