History
Formation of Tsudahar Village
The territory of the Tsudahar Union has been inhabited since ancient times. In the study area, the location and sites of the Upper Paleolithic and Mesolithic were discovered. However, sources on the ancient and medieval history of Tsudahar are very scarce, so you have to use historical and ethnographic material collected by researchers on the territory of the former Tsudahar and other Dargin unions, as well as the adjacent territories of Avars and Laks.
There are many legends and legends about the foundation of Tsudahar in the present territory of Tsudakhar. According to one of them, some of the Mekeginians from the Buinak region for some reason moved to the area of El-Duburi, where Bek-shi was founded (i.e. the main village). Tradition reports that Gubden , Akush , Mekegi , Tsudahar, Usisha , Mugi were subsequently founded by the evictions from Bek-shi.
According to another version of this legend, there was a village on Shamkhal Mountain, in the Shibark area. After the war, only 12 men remained in the village who decided, having abandoned the aul, to settle in other places. Three of 12 went down to the plain and founded the village, calling it the name of the eldest of them - Gubden. The other two, also founding villages, were called Mekegi and Kadar. The rest founded the settlements of Akush , Usish , Tsudahar, Gapsim , Mugi , Sirga.
There is another legend, according to which, near the current village of Hajal-mahi , in the area where there was a waterfall (Tsudahar waterfall - chakhkhi), on one of the rocks there was a village, which was called "Suahar". Residents of Suahar, outraged by the cruelty of the Talhan ruler, left their families in search of a new place for housing. The very first to leave the village were two brothers, one comrade and their sister. They stopped at the site of old Tsudahar and founded a village. [four]
