Office History
Since the 19th century, office supplies (especially writing accessories ) have become an important part of etiquette ; their use in some cases, for example, sending a printed wedding invitation, has become very common, whereas earlier it was considered an insult [1] . Many of these behaviors could have been invented by the stationery manufacturers themselves - for example, Crane's Blue Book of Stationery is clearly associated with Crane & Co. [2] .
