Vylva ( roman. Vâlva ) - in Romanian mythology, the female spirit roaming at night on the tops of the hills. Catching can be either good (vâlve albe, white) or evil (vâlve negre, black).

- The outcrop of fortresses (Vâlva Cetătilor) is the protector of ancient ruins.
Catch can take a different look. Often they look like women, sometimes just like shadows or black cats. Catch can protect the village from a storm, hail, hurricane.
