Longitarsus ferrugineus (lat.) - a species of leaf beetles ( Chrysomelidae ) from the subfamily of gnats ( Galerucinae ). Distributed in Western and Central Europe , as well as in North Africa . Adult beetles and their larvae feed on mint leaves ( Mentha ) (a genus of plants from the family Lamiaceae ) [1] .
