1908-1914
Given the differences in the rules of the game, Louis Magnus , a French journalist and propagandist of winter ice sports, turned to the International Skating Union with a proposal to lead hockey federations and standardize the rules. February 17, 1911 , during the IV Congress, held in Berlin , the LIHG was accepted into Russian hockey federation . At the same time, the Oxford Canadiens team was accepted - an association of Of England Canadians. On March 14, 1911, LIHG adopted Canadian rules, which became mandatory for all LIHG members . 1946-1974
