Hunt will

William Martin Hunt ( born William Martin Hunt ; born September 5, 1971) is an American multi-genre drummer (colleagues note that Will is good in all genres he takes on). Vocalist Evanescence (Amy Lee), in their studio video diary, called him the best drummer in the world. In addition to the fact that Will plays in completely different styles (from pop to heavy metal), his calling card is his bright behavior behind the set during the game (Will is a big fan of various feints with sticks and his behavior is very expressive and emotional).

It is known that Will, thanks to his qualities, became a member of a large number of musical groups. Such as Evanescence , Black Label Society , Device , Dark New Day , Crossfade, etc. He also joined Skrape until 2004. Will also appeared on a video shot by Tommy Lee during his (Tomi) solo tour. In the video, Will was expected to play drums. This video made it to the Top 20 that year. In 2006-2007, Will performed with Motley Crue while Tommy Lee suffered from tendonitis (tendon tissue dystrophy). Hunt also played with Slaughter , Vince Neil and many others. During 2007, Hunt recorded with Bloodsimple and Static-X . In May 2007, Hunt replaced Rocky Gray, who left the Evanescence , and together with the band completed their tour in support of The Open Door , the tour ended in December 2007. He continued to work with Dark New Day while performing with Evanescence (as a session musician, and then he was invited to the official group).

In 2010, Hunt joined Tommy Lee's new project, Methods of Mayhem as a drummer for recording their album A Public Disservice Announcement and a subsequent tour in his support. Although it was said that he would be touring in support of the album, Hunt was replaced by drummer from Sevendust, Morgan Rose.

During this time, Hunt plays in the Black Label Society , and tours freely with Clutch in support of their album Order of the Black , and also performs with 2Cents .

In 2010, it was announced that Will would be involved as a drummer on Crossfade's third album, We All Bleed . The album will be released on April 12, 2011. At first everyone thought that he was a member of the group, but then the group announced its replacement, so Will was just a session musician on their third album.

On Friday, December 10th, Hunt was announced as the new drummer for Eye Empire . He replaced the original drummer Garrett Whitlock.

In February 2011, Evanescence vocalist called Hunt and invited him to join the group (Hunt said in an interview that he was glad to call, because he really likes working with Amy and her music), after which the group went to the studio for pre-production of the new album (Hunt is known to have worked on drums).

In May 2011, it was announced that Will would play with Staind for a while, while Amy Lee was finishing her vocal recordings.

In 2012, David Draiman invited him to his new side project DEVICE . The project recorded the album, but Dreyman eventually decided to focus on Disturbed .

Since 2014, Hunt has also performed with Italian musician Vasco Rossi.

As of July 2016, it can be said that Hunt's main forces are concentrated on Evanescence and Vasco Rossi .
