Biography
Born on May 5 (18), 1908 in the village of Inzhavino, Tambov Province , in a peasant family.
Member of the CPSU since 1931 . He worked in Moscow as an editor of factory newspapers, a correspondent for the newspaper Krasnaya Zvezda . He was a front-line correspondent during the Great Patriotic War [1] .
From 1946 he worked in the magazine " Spark ". Author of essays and books about the village, the peasantry, agriculture.
Son - dissident Vladimir Bukovsky .
