Content
Club career
Marinko began his football career in Koper in his hometown. In 1993, he moved to Maribor , which he played for three seasons. After Maribor, he moved to Croatia, where he played for Zagreb and Kroatsiyu , but without much success, and in 1998 he returned to Slovenia. At home, Marinko played for Mora , Maribor, Rudar , and Koper . In 2003 he moved to the Chinese " Shandong Lunen ", but after playing one season he moved to Cyprus, where he played for the " Apollon " from Limassol . Galich completed his professional career in 2007, speaking for Interblock .
International Career
He made his debut for the national team on February 8, 1994 in a friendly match against Georgia (1-0). Member of Euro 2000 and 2002 World Cup . In total, Marinko played 66 matches for the national team and takes the 5th place in the Slovenian national team.
