History
The Free Flock project was created by guitarist Alexei Strike in 2006 as the first serious female group playing in the heavy-metal style. When choosing the candidacies of musicians, Alexei set a rather tough and fair condition: the girls must be proficient in the instrument. On December 20, 2006, after another concert, due to disagreements, the guitarist Anna Maylova leaves the group, and after a while, the rather famous and experienced guitarist Natalya Terekhova , who worked in such bands as Lamia , Women's Disease and Magic, takes her place.
May 20, 2007 the group released their debut album entitled "The Pack ."
The group has already managed to light up at many major festivals, including “Change Your Tomorrow”, “Glory to Russia!”, “Lady's guitar player party”, “Iron Maidens”, “IOSIS Fest-2008 (Tashkent)”, “Vienas Dangus-2008 (Vilnius) ”,“ Rockstars-2007 (Tallinn) ”,“ BASINFIREFEST-2007 (Czech Republic) ”and others ... The German label Pure Steel Records released“ Tribute To Steel: A Tribute To Warlock ”- 2008. This is the first official tribute to WARLOCK / Doro Pesch and it was attended by both young teams and the participants of Warlock themselves. Volna Flock band entered tribute with Volnaya Staya - I rule the ruins
On July 15, 2011, it became known that the Free Flock will perform a cover version of the Rock Star composition by Black Obelisk , which will be included in the tribute album A Tribute to Black Obelisk. XXV ”, preparing for release in 2011. [one]
