Genealogy
The ancestor was the descendant of the Croatian despots Hodko , who came to serve the Polish king Vladislav Jagell . For his merits, he received from the king the village of Ermolintsy ( Yarmolintsy ) on the Smotrych River , near Kamenetz-Podolsky , with the right to be called pan Yermolinsky - this is evidenced by a patent received by Khodko in 1407, written in Russian letters on parchment. Already with his son Alexander, the village grew so much that it began to be called a town. From the grandson of Khodko, Fyodor Alexandrovich, the Sutkovsky clan went.
A descendant of Khodko in the eighth generation, Semyon Ivanovich , after taking Smolensk, accepted Russian citizenship and was granted estates in 1656. The Yermolinsky clan was included in the VI and I parts of the genealogy books of Smolensk and Tver provinces.
