A tram in Patras is a type of urban public transport that worked in Patras from 1902 to 1918. The tram network in Patras was initially electrified and became the first electric tram system in Greece.
The system consisted of two lines. One was stretched in the lower city from the area of Agios Dionysios to Ityi, the length of the line was 5.3 km. The second line was in the upper city; It also started from the area of Agios Dionisios to Tambahan Square, the length of the line is 1.7 km.
Currently there are plans to restore tram traffic in Patras. [one]
