Story

The movie is based on real events.

Michael Auer , a young African-American , once again loses housing. Out of sincere compassion, he is taken under his care by a wealthy Christian family, of which he becomes a member over time. Since childhood, Michael has disarming and, at the same time, defenseless kindness, huge growth and titanic power. Ardently supported by his new family, he begins to play American football for the school team. Much remains to be overcome by Michael Oer, but, despite all the barriers, his well-deserved successes in sports and then in studies allow him to receive an athlete's scholarship and enter the budget department at the University of Mississippi.

At the end of the film are documentary shots of how Michael is selected for the Baltimore Ravens professional team, as well as documentary photographs of those thanks to whom he was reborn, found himself and found the true joy of life - his adoptive family.
