JCLic consists of three main components:

  • JCLic is the main program used to complete tasks. It allows you to create and organize your own library of projects, and make a choice between different options for graphical environments and operational functions
  • JClic author - a tool that allows you to create and modify JClic-projects using an intuitive visual environment. The program makes it possible to create Java-applets of educational applications for their inclusion in Web pages . Tasks can also be integrated into the project library.
  • JClic reports - a module that allows you to manage a database of reports on students completing assignments included in various JClic projects. The program works on the network and provides the opportunity to receive statistical reports on the results.

The JClic program is written in Java and works on various operating systems : Windows , Linux , Mac OS X and Solaris .

The development of the JClic project is currently underway on the web portal of the Department of University Studies and the Information Society (DURSI) of the Government of Catalonia .
