Ikotnik ( lat. Berteróa ) - a genus of plants of the Cabbage family, common in Eurasia and brought to North America. It is found in weedy places. It blooms in central Russia from May to October.

The genus is named after the Italian botanist Carlo Luigi Giuseppe Bertero ^[2] .

Botanical Description

Annual , biennial or perennial grasses , pubescent with branched hairs . The leaves are whole, regular. Flowers in brushes ; petals are white, deeply separate; the fruit of the pod ^[3] .
