Biography
He entered the service as a squire in the 4th platoon (of Muslims) of the Life Guards of the Caucasian Squadron of Own E.V. convoy on December 20, 1868. He was promoted to junker on January 26, 1873, and to ensign on March 1, 1873. He had a silver medal "For Service in the Own Convoy of the Sovereign Emperor Alexander Nikolayevich" to be worn around the neck.
Member of the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878 . From April 16, 1877 to February 19, 1879, as part of the Erivan squad, he was on campaigns and affairs against Turkey . April 16, 1877 enrolled in the Elizabethpol horse-irregular regiment. He participated in the battles on the Dayarsky , Dramdagsky , Zorsky heights and near Bayazet ( June 28, 1877).
On August 17, 1877 he was seconded to the 1st Uman Cossack Regiment of the Kuban Cossack Army . March 16, 1878 for the difference in cases against the Turks at the Zorsky Heights ( July 23-24, 1877) was awarded the Order of St. Stanislav of the 3rd Art. with swords and bow.
May 28, 1878 for the difference in affairs with the Turks was enlisted as a cornet in the army cavalry. On September 6, he was assigned to serve in the Caucasian cavalry regiment of the Kuban Cossack army. He had a light bronze medal in memory of the Russo-Turkish War of 1877-1878 .
March 3, 1882 was seconded to the Poltava cavalry regiment of the Kuban Cossack army. On November 14, 1886, he was appointed to be a member of the troops of the Caucasian Military District , leaving behind in the army cavalry. On May 6, 1887 he was promoted to second lieutenant , and on August 30, 1891, he was promoted to lieutenant . February 27, 1893 was seconded to the district headquarters. December 4, 1896 was assigned to the 1st Sunzhensko-Vladikavkaz regiment of the Tersky Cossack army . In 1898 - 1899 Chief Officer of the Army of the Caucasus Military District in the army cavalry [1] .
On November 21, 1900, for his length of service, he was promoted to headquarters captain , and on June 1, 1901, to captains . For his 25 years of service in officer ranks, on September 22, 1902 he was awarded the Order of St. Vladimir of the 4th degree.
In July-August 1903 he was sent to Persia for "reconnaissance of roads to the cities of Tabriz and Ardabil ." December 6, 1903 was awarded the Order of St. Anne of the 3rd degree. October 5, 1904 promoted to lieutenant colonel [2] . On December 21, 1904 he was sent to serve in the 2nd Volga Regiment of the Terek Cossack Army.
In 1909, he was lieutenant colonel of the 1st Sunzhensk-Vladikavkaz general Sleptsov regiment of the Terek Cossack army of the 2nd Caucasian army corps .
On February 22, 1911, Lt. Col. Rustam-bek Mirzaev, who was in the reserve of the army cavalry and registered in the Shushinsky district, was promoted to colonel with dismissal from service with a uniform and pension.
During the period of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic , he served as the Baku police chief [3] .
