Sophie Joséphine Louise Marie Immaculée Gabrielle Philippine Henriette ; 19 Louise Marie-Immaculata Gabriel Philippine Henrietta ; October 19, 1898 , Neuilly-sur-Seine - October 9, 1928 , Chateau de Turron ) - the second daughter of Emmanuel of Orleans , Duke of Vendome and his wife Henrietta of Belgium . Sofia was named in memory of her grandmother, Sofia Charlotte Augustus, Duchess of Bavaria, Alanson and Orleans , who died during a fire at a charity fair on the occasion of the World Exhibition on Jean Goujon Street in Paris .

A few days after birth, Sofia suffered cramps, as a result of which she remained disabled.
Sophia of Orleans died in 1928 before she was 30 years old. She is buried in the family tomb of the Orleans house in Dreux .
