Aleksandrov [2] - railway station of the Yaroslavl direction of the Moscow railway in the city of Alexandrov, Vladimir region. Unofficially, the name Aleksandrov I is also used in the timetables to distinguish it from another Aleksandrov II station in the city. Opened in 1870 . It is part of the Moscow-Kursk center for the organization of work of the railway stations DTSS-1 of the Moscow Directorate of Traffic Management. Location and travel
The station is nodal, has a branch to the south of the Big Ring of the Moscow Railway on Belkovo / Orekhovo-Zuevo . It is located on the Moscow - Yaroslavl railway , 111.4 km from the Yaroslavl station , travel time: 1 hour 36 minutes - 2 hours (express trains and long-distance trains); 1 hour 54 minutes - 2 hours 22 minutes (suburban trains). The station is a butt interway (transfer) between the Moscow and Northern railways. The border corresponds to a conditional separate point Alexandrov SAIPS . Physically, the border with the Northern Railway is located on the stretch to Balakirevo at 114.0 km, 700 m east of the eastern border of Alexandrov Station, 350 m east of the Chugunny Bridge across the Seraya River. It is marked by four special stellas: one stellar MZhD and three SZD.
In the southwestern part of the station (direction to Strunino ) there is a transport interchange , including the former 108 km post , which allows you to get to the Big Ring of the Moscow Railway or vice versa from the main passage of the Yaroslavl direction without parasitic routes, both from Moscow and from Aleksandrov, but from Moscow, it is used only for freight traffic. From the roundabout to the Alexandrov II station, there is a four-way stage. Of the two routes to the main part of the station, Aleksandrov Yuzhny is mainly used for the movement of electric trains in both directions, the north - for the movement of freight trains in both directions.
Technical Features
There are 4 passenger platforms at the station: 3 island and south lateral, combined with the ground surface near the station building. The southernmost of the island platforms has a high wide part on the western side for taking electric trains to / from Moscow, and is also used for other electric trains. The remaining low platforms are narrower, the northern of them a meter wide. Crossing platforms on a footpath through paths in the center of the platforms. At the southern side platform is the Alexandrov suburban station, which has a waiting room, suburban and long-distance ticket offices, and a cafe. There is also a suburban ticket office on the street by the floor to go to the platforms.
The station belongs to the 12th tariff zone (from Moscow). In June 2016, turnstiles were installed at the station.

The final point of electric trains of the Moscow suburban zone from the Yaroslavl station (up to 28 pairs per day, including 4 pairs of express trains - three pairs daily, once 6 times a week), with some of them going further to Balakirevo (2.5 pairs on weekends , 1.5 couples on weekdays). In addition, it serves electric trains to Yaroslavl (3 pairs per day), Dmitrov (1 pair per day) and Povarovo III (3 pairs per day), to Kirzhach , Orekhovo-Zuevo and Kurovskaya (9 pairs per day), as well as to Ivanovo (1 pair per day, commuter train on diesel traction).

Long-distance trains coming from Moscow usually do not stop at the station, with the exception of the Moscow-Ivanovo / Kineshma trains, which have a change of locomotives in Alexandrov.
