This season, the composition of the Premier League for the second time was formed together with viewers by SMS- voting. The finalists of the Ukrainian league “Island of Crimea”, two finalists of the First League - “Beau monde” and “Kefir”, the National Team of the Chechen Republic, as well as the KVN team “Astana.kz” in the original composition, but under a new name - “Kazakhi” claimed three places. "(The team was forced to change its name, as a young team was already performing under it). The three teams with the most votes were invited to the Major League season.
“Kazakhs” became the fourth team to play the fifth season in the Premier League. Before them, BSU (first squad), Ural dumplings and the Vladivostok National Team played for five seasons. At the same time, some members of the Kazakhstan team (Yaroslav Melekhin, Tursunbek Kabatov and Nurzhan Beisenov) played in the Premier League in the seasons 2002 , 2003 and 2004 as part of the Astana National Team, and Kumar Lukmanov first appeared on the stage of the Premier League in 2000 as part of the Kazakhstani team project".
In the season of the Premier League 2010, after a two-year absence, the Ukrainian teams returned, and two of them managed to reach the semifinals. Until 2010, the last Ukrainian team to reach the semi-finals of the Premier League was the 95th Quarter team in the 2002 season. They were the last in the quarterfinals in 2003. Since then, not a single Ukrainian team has passed the 1 / 8th finals of the Major League.
On the other hand, the 2010 season was unsuccessful for the Moscow teams. After starting from the 2001 season, the Moscow teams got to the Premier League at least to the quarter-finals, in the 2010 season all the Moscow teams left the race already in the 1 / 8th finals.
Three finalists of the previous seasons reached the final game: Team of Krasnodar Territory, “Triode and Diode” and “Kazakhi”; and one debutant - “25th”, the first women's team, which went first to the semifinals, and then to the finals of the Premier League. The champion of the season was the Team of the Krasnodar Territory, and the village of Bryukhovetskaya was the smallest settlement with the team that won the Highest League of KVN.
