Vulcan Peretolchina is a young extinct volcano in the Khi-Gol Pad (Valley of Volcanoes) in the Okinsky district of Buryatia in the East Sayan .

Located in the upper part of the Valley of Volcanoes 3 km northeast of the Kropotkin volcano . The base of the volcano lies at the level of 1970 m, the height of the peak is 2050 m, the diameter of the crater is 140 m, the depth is 30 m, a small lake with a diameter of about 10 m is located at the bottom. The top of the volcano, as well as the outer and inner slopes are overgrown with shrubs ; firs and larch .
The volcano is named after the Irkutsk scientist and researcher Sergei Pavlovich Peretolchin , who died in these places under mysterious circumstances [2] .
