The Kenai River is Alaska's most popular sport fishing spot. Twice a year, numerous salmon , sockeye salmon , and coho salmon go to spawn in Kenai. Pink salmon spawns once every two years. Kenai is not the richest fish river, but is famous for trophy-sized fish, which attracts many fishermen who want to set a record on this river.
