The National Society of Sculptors ( English National Sculpture Society , abbr. NSS ) is the first professional sculptors organization in the United States, established in 1893 . The headquarters of the company is located on Park Avenue in New York .
Among the co-founders of the society were, in particular, the sculptors Stanford White , Richard Morris Hunt , Daniel Chester French , Augustus St. Gaudens . In addition to the sculptors, among the founders were several famous architects. The first president of the society was John Ward .
The company continues to work at present, publishes the quarterly magazine “Sculpture Review” [1] , holds exhibitions. President - Michel Langlais , First Vice President - Amy Kann .
