Biography
In 2009, the guys became famous throughout America thanks to their sets at the Bonnaru and Lollapalouse festivals. When vocalist John Gurley came up with the name of the group, he knew about Portugal only the name of the capital - Lisbon , that there are beautiful beaches and "the word Portugal sounds cool." Thanks to this, the group has received great recognition in Portugal since its inception.
Released in July 2011 on Atlantic Records, the album In The Mountain In The Cloud turned the band into the possession of an entire state. The musicians got on the Conan O'Brien TV show and on the ninth line in the list of best albums on the MTV poll. By the end of 2011, with the help of the same Atlantic Records, the team reached popular festivals and television shows. The record sales were successful, and the number of fans of the group doubled [1] .
