Ishikly [1] ( Yshykly ; tour. Işıklı Gölü ) - a lake in southwestern Turkey , in the north-eastern part of Denizli silt in the territory of Chivril region [2] .

Lake in the spring of 2007
The lake is located at an altitude of 830 m above sea level . Menderes [1] [2] flows through the lake - the largest river in the west of the country. It has an area of 73 km². Water level and area varies depending on season and year. The water in the lake is fresh. The lake is an important breeding ground for birds.
Near the northern shore of the lake is the Ishiklygol swamp, stretching towards the village of Ishikly [3] .
