Konstantin Eduardovich Bronzit (born April 12, 1965 , Leningrad ) is a Russian animator, screenwriter, director of animated films, voice actor. Winner of international awards, a member of the National French Academy of Motion Picture Arts, since 2009 a member of the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts "Oscar" [1] . Two-time nominee for the Oscar in the category "Best Animated Short Film" for the cartoons " Restroom - Love Story " and " We can not live without space ." Honored Artist of the Russian Federation ( 2006 ). Winner of the Prize of the President of the Russian Federation ( 2016 )

Biography
In 1983 [2] he graduated from the Second Art School. Johanson at the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. Repin. After school, [3] went to work as a cartoon artist in the animation workshop of the studio “ Lennauchfilm ”, where he shot his first cartoon - “Carousel” (compilation “Very Little Tragedies”, 1988 ).
In 1992 he graduated from the evening department of the design department of the St. Petersburg Higher Art and Industrial School named after V. Mukhina. In 1995 he graduated from the department of animation film directing at the Higher Directing Courses at VGIK (workshop of Fyodor Khitruk ).
In 1993 - 1995 he studied and worked as a screenwriter, director and animator at the Pilot studio, where he created several short animated cartoons: " Chew " (1993), "Tuk-tuk" (1993), "Dummy" (1994). Alexander Tatarsky called him the best student [3] .
In 1996-1999 he worked at the Petersburg studio "Positive TV", the director of many commercials and telezastavok (among them - advertising "Tea Milford", screen saver " MTV Russia ").
In 1998, he lived and worked in France (studio “ ”, cartoon “ At the End of the Earth ”).
Since 1999 - at the animation studio “ Mill ” ( Petersburg ), where, as the main consultant and artistic director, he participated in the work on the full-length animation projects “ Adventures in the Emerald City ” and “ Dwarf Nose ”.
Since 2003 she has been teaching at SPbGUP [4] . Conducts the author's course "Computer graphics and animation."
In 2004, as a director, he staged a full-length animation film “Alyosha Popovich and Tugarin Snake” . Also voiced the hero of the film - Tugarin .
In 2005 - directed the cartoon "The Cat and the Fox " from the series " Mountain of Gems ". For filmed in 2007, the cartoon " Toilet History - A Love Story " was nominated for an Oscar in 2009 [5] .
In addition to the cartoon works, Bronzit also became known as a cartoonist (Silver Pencil Award at the international Saticon caricature competition in Legnica (1988, 1990), Silver Planet, and others).
