Description
High convex turns of the shell, folded in a tower spiral, are clearly visible
The height of the shell is 30β70 mm [1] . The shell is medium-sized, thin-walled, with 6-7 extremely convex high revolutions folded into a wide tower spiral. The axial structure is formed by regular raised circular ribs. The mouth of the conch is round, framed by the last circular rib. The general color of the shell is from white to lilac-gray [1] .
Range
Tropical Indo-Pacific region. From Fiji , the South Japanese Islands to Australia , the Philippine Islands and the Persian Gulf [1] .
Lifestyle
It lives at a depth of 20-130 meters, burrowing in the sand. Predator , eats sea ββanemones [1] .
