Dumping of history - a figure of speech , denoting a place where people, events, ideologies, etc., move, being forgotten in history .
Believed to be the first used this expression Leon Trotsky in his address to the Mensheviks who left the Second Congress of Soviets on October 25, 1917 .
“The people followed us, we won, and now they tell us: give up your victory, make a concession, accept a compromise. Who am I asking you? With the wavering groups that left us and now make us offers? We tell them: you are worthless and have failed. Your role is over, go to the place where you are destined: to the dustbin of history. ” [one]
Another well-known example of the use of this figure of speech was the speech of Ronald Reagan in the British House of Commons on June 8, 1982 , in which he called the Soviet Union the “ Evil Empire ”.

One of the latest examples of use is the statement that Muammar Gaddafi made in March 2011 during the Libyan civil war against the NATO countries that launched the bombing of Libya:
This aggression is carried out by a crowd of fascists, who will end their days in the dustbin of history [3] [4] .
