Description
Flower beetle 10-11 mm long. Adult beetles overwinter. [one]
Development
The female lays eggs in the spring and shortly thereafter, larvae emerge from the eggs. Larvae develop approximately 83 days. Pupa develops for 16 days. [one]
Ecology
The adult beetle harms fruit plants , and the larva is a pest of corn , wheat and oats , but does not cause much harm. [one]
