Biography
Sergey Haruta was born on January 25, 1974 in Moscow . At the age of 5, he began to learn to play the piano. At the age of 6, he entered the music school No. 13 of Moscow in the class of Marina Ivanovna Mozgovenko, the daughter of a famous clarinet player and teacher, professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences. In 2014, without releasing a single album, the project split into two: KHARUTA - Sergey's solo project and the Kharuta & Inga Metti duet.
January 7, 2015 the release of the first studio album of the KHARUTA project called Where was released . The album is written in the style of chillout. It included compositions written by Sergey Haruta from 2000 to 2014. The album was recorded by German jazz trumpeter and pianist Studnitzky, bassist Dmitry Simonov and American musician and singer Rhett Raha, known as Kidforce. He is the author of the English texts of the three tracks of the album, as well as the performer of the vocal part in the track Take The Night . Madina uses the poem To A Young Poet by American poetess Edna St. Vincent Millay. The authors of the Russian texts were Dmitry Shevchenko and the Moscow poet Tatyana Ivanova.
On September 22, 2017, Kharuta's second studio album, Streets Of The Sleepy Town, was released.
