Club career
As a professional footballer, Ayhan made his debut in the 1995/96 season at the Gebzespor club, from 1997 to 1998, he played for Batman Petropolispor from his hometown . He spent the longest football career playing for Rizespor , with whom he joined the Turkish Super League in 2000, but after his club left the top division, he began to look for a new club.
From 2003 to 2005, he appeared in a Gaziantepspor t-shirt. In the 2007/08 season, he played for Sivasspor. The football team was in great shape, and Aykhan became almost the best player in the team, having spent the best season in his career .
For the first time in 24 years, Sivasspor rose so high and made its debut in European competition at the end of the season, while Aykhan himself played 30 games under the guidance of the famous coach Bulent Uigun .
In total, Turkey played 382 games in the professional football league and scored 30 goals.
The great game shown during the 2007/08 season attracted the attention of other clubs. On September 1, 2008, on the last day of the transfer window , he joined the club of the Azerbaijani Premier League Khazar-Lenkoran . Ayhan signed a two-year contract with the club Rasim Kara . The 29-year-old Sivasspor footballer explained his transition to the Azerbaijani club by saying that he wants to work with the head coach Rasim Kara, who was a Turkish national team player in the past and made a bet on it. European Campaign
