History

There are no documents on the exact date of foundation of the village of Kazantsevo in the Kuryinsky district. Its first settler is Dmitry Kazantsev, whose last name was the village. He was the first to build a house in this area, uproot the forest and live here with his family. Presumably, the village of Kazantsevo was founded by immigrants from Belarus in the 19th century: “This is the homeland of my ancestors. And, according to my mother, they (the ancestors) are the founders of this village In the mid-19th century, they came from Belarus in search of free land. They were very wealthy peasants. In the 30s they dispossessed their family and scattered them all over Siberia. It would also be very interesting to know more about their roots. My dispossessed ancestors: Kazantsev Nikita Nikiforovich , Kaz gloss Thekla Afanasyevna their children Ilya and Valentina. " [four]

Spring in Altai

The surroundings of the village of Kazantsevo are promising in terms of tourism. About fifty springs were discovered and described in the Kuryinsky district - in the Rudovozovo spring zone (named after the village of Rudovozovo) and the area near the village of Kazantsevo.

Some springs in the form of keys beat from the ground, others look like fountains. Almost all springs are given a name, and each of them has a “face”: Family, Voskresensky, Krasnolutsky, Belokamenny, Vostrushinsky, Kholodny and others. [eight]

Two kilometers from the village. Kazantsevo is a large clay yard, from which the Krasnolutsky spring flows, forming a small lake near the left bank of the Loktevka River. It has very clean spring water, which retains its properties due to the clay bottom. Twenty meters from the spring they go to the surface of the soil deposits of healing blue clay.

The Loktevka River, flowing on the outskirts of the village of Kazantsevo, does not freeze in winter, so there are many wintering birds - geese and ducks. [9]

Eight kilometers east of Kazantsevo is the Voskresenskaya Sopka - one of the first mines of the Kolyvan Plant on Voskresenskaya Hill. At 800 meters south of the former mine there is a highway - a regional highway Kurya-Kolyvan (Fig. 2). The proximity to the highway leading to Kolyvan can make the hill an interesting tourist and sightseeing object. [ten]
