Moscow Polytechnic College

The state institution of secondary vocational education "Moscow Polytechnic College" was created by a decision of the Board of the All-Union Association of Special Steels of the People's Commissariat of Heavy Industry of the USSR of December 23 , 1930 at the Sickle and Hammer Moscow Metallurgical Plant. Student enrollment began in 1932 . The old name of the college is Moscow Metallurgical College. In 1993, by Order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation No. 93 dated 03.22.93, the Moscow Metallurgical College was granted college status and it was renamed the Moscow Polytechnic College. On the basis of the decree of the Order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation of March 29, 1993, the Moscow Polytechnic College was transferred to the Committee of the Russian Federation for Metallurgy.

In 2005, pursuant to the policy of regionalizing education in Russia, on the basis of Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 03.12.2004 No. 1565 and Decree of the Government of Moscow dated 03.05.2005 No. 285-PP “On the acceptance of state educational institutions of primary education in the city of Moscow and secondary vocational education and state property of the city of Moscow property transferred to state educational institutions of primary and secondary vocational education ”Moscow Polytechnic Call J transferred to the Moscow Department of Education .
