A-13 - a single-seat all-metal aerobatic glider of O.K. Antonov . Designed and built in 1957 . Designed for training and aerobatics. In January 1962 , the A-13 with a small turbojet engine A. M. Lyulki [1] set a world speed record of 196 km / h for aircraft up to 500 kilograms. This version of the A-13 was called the An-13.

The A-13 glider was mass-produced and operated in flying clubs, where demonstration flights were conducted at air parades. Glider A-13 was released in the amount of 200 copies. Each instance included elongated wing consoles for the A-11 glider.
Aerodynamic design
According to the scheme, the glider was a freestanding monoplane with a middle wing and a V-tail. The fuselage of the A-13 glider was identical to the fuselage of the A-11 glider. Gliders differed from each other only with removable wing consoles, which took only a few minutes to replace.
