The administrative center is the village of Suponevo .
History
The parish was formed during the reform of 1861 ; covered a large territory south, east and northeast of Bryansk , up to the borders with Trubchevsky , Karachevsky and Zhizdrinsky districts. It was the largest volost in the county by area, while 94% of its territory was forest.
During the enlargement of volosts, in April 1924 the Suponevsky volost was abolished, and its territory became part of the newly formed Bezhitsky volost .
Now the entire territory of the former Suponevsky volost is included in the Bryansk region of the Bryansk region .
