Biography
In 1931 he graduated from the Leningrad Agricultural Institute.
In 1931-1941 - Agronomist, economist of the agricultural trust of the Leningrad Union of Consumer Societies, director of Badayevsky, vegetable and dairy state farm Lesnoye (Leningrad Region).
In 1941-1945 - in the Red Army.
In 1945-1950 - Director of the Leningrad Trust of dairy state farms.
In 1950, he was deputy head of the Agricultural Department of the Leningrad Regional Committee of the CPSU (B.).
In 1950-1956 - Head of the Leningrad Regional Department of Agriculture.
In 1956-1960 - Secretary of the Leningrad Regional Committee of the CPSU.
In 1960, he was the second secretary of the Leningrad Regional Committee of the CPSU.
In 1960-1978 - First Secretary of the Kalinin Regional Committee of the CPSU.
Member of the CPSU (b) since 1939. Member of the Central Committee of the CPSU in 1961-1981. Member of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR 6-9 convocations.
Since 1978, retired.
Awards and titles
He was awarded three orders of Lenin, orders of the Red Banner of Labor, the Red Star and many medals.
