“The Herover's Enchantment ” ( dr. Scand. Hervararkviða ) is a 13th-century Old Icelandic poem from The Herover Saga , sometimes included in Elder Edda .

The poem tells of the virgin warrior Herver and her visit to the ghost of her father, Angantur , on a funerary mound. The Herver went to him to get her inheritance - the "magic sword Turfing ", forged by the dwarves for the king of Gardarika named Sierglami .
Based on the Witchcraft Herveyor, a 19th-century French poet Leconte de Lille created his work L'Épée d'Angantyr (Sword of Angantur)
