Biography
In 1987 she graduated from the Faculty of Geography of Moscow State University . In 1991-1993, he was a junior researcher at the Institute for Employment Problems of the Ministry of Labor of the Russian Federation and the Center for Demography and Human Ecology. Since 1993, he has been a junior research fellow at the Institute of Economic Forecasting of the Russian Academy of Sciences , the Center for Demography and Human Ecology, and since 1999, a senior research fellow. Since 2008 - Senior Researcher at the Institute of Demography, SU-HSE.
Research interests: public health, medical geography, labor migration, employment in small Russian cities, illegal migration in border regions, migration mobility.
Editor of the newsletter “Population and Society” (since 1994), editor of the electronic newspaper “Demoscope Weekly” (since 2002). [one]
In 1994-2000 she taught at the International Independent Ecological and Political University ( MNEPU ) [1] .
