List of cultural heritage of Veliky Ustyug

Inclusion Criteria

The list includes all wooden architectural monuments ( Object of the cultural heritage of Russia ) located in the territory of the city of Veliky Ustyug , in accordance with the “List of cultural heritage sites of federal and regional significance located in the Vologda Oblast and under state protection” ^[1] , “ The Catalog of Monuments of Immovable Objects of Cultural Heritage ” ^[2] and “ The Design of the Zones for the Protection of Monuments of History and Culture of Veliky Ustyug (Historical and Architectural Reference Plan) ” ^[3] .

List Structure

Monuments of architecture are formed by a general list in alphabetical order and sorted by address. The name of the monument and the dating are indicated according to the “List of objects of cultural heritage of federal and regional significance located in the Vologda Oblast and consisting of state protection” or by the name of the first owner of the building. The column “Commentary” indicates the current use of the monument, basic information on preservation. The column “Category of historical and cultural significance” indicates categories of the monument, which are divided into:

objects of cultural heritage of federal significance - of particular importance for the history and culture of the Russian Federation;
objects of cultural heritage of regional significance - objects of particular importance for the history and culture of the subject of the Russian Federation;
identified objects of cultural heritage - objects that are of historical and cultural value and in relation to which a conclusion has been issued by the state historical and cultural examination on including them in the register as objects of cultural heritage ^[4] .

The main list includes architectural monuments, including monuments of federal significance, regional significance and identified monuments.

In the column "No." is given the number of the complex of monuments.

In the column “Monument Code and Condition”, the code of the monument is indicated in the “Catalog of Monuments of Immovable Objects of Cultural Heritage” and its current status is marked with color.
