The Internet kit includes a modem , installation software and user manual. The first Internet kits in Russia were distributed along with the development of GPRS . With the improvement of wireless technology for data transmission, Internet kits began to support GSM / EDGE / 3G networks. Telecommunications operators also release Internet kits designed to connect to the Internet through telephone lines.

Today on the market the following types of Internet kits are presented:
