The administrative center is the village of Boshino .
History
The parish was formed during the reform of 1861 . It was the largest county parish in terms of population, number of settlements (42) and peasant communities (61), as well as the area of arable land (17645 acres). [one]
In 1924, the Boshinsky volost was abolished, and its territory was included in the newly formed Veliaminovsky volost .
Nowadays, the territory of the former Boshinsky volost is divided between the Karachevsky district of the Bryansk region and the Shablykinsky district of the Oryol region .
Administrative Division
In 1920, the following village councils were part of the Boshinsky volost: Bozhidaevsky, Boshinsky, Bykovsky, Volkovsky, Dukarevsky, Zeleninsky, Ivanovsky, Krivosheinsky, Mashkinsky, Muravelnikovsky, Nechaevsky, Osipovsky, Petrovsky, Saburovsky, Suryanovsky, Utkinsky, Khorinovsky. [2]
