Known as the first performer of the parties of the huntsman Max in Karl Maria Weber ’s opera “The Free Shooter ” ( June 18, 1821 [1] ) and Philipp von Hohenstaufen in “Agnes von Hohenstaufen” by Gaspare Spontini ( 1829 [2] ), as well as the performer of the Evangelist’s party in the organized at the initiative of Felix Mendelssohn in the Berlin performance of “Passion for Matthew” by Johann Sebastian Bach on March 11, 1829 - a milestone for the revival of widespread interest in Bach music. Stürmer was among the soloists at the premiere of the Great solemn music for the Dürer festival of Mendelssohn himself ( 1828 ).
