Description
“The flag is a rectangular panel with a ratio of width to length 2: 3, composed of two horizontal stripes: blue - at 5/7 of the panel and white - at 2/7; "in the middle of the blue strip right next to the white one is a white mountain with two black burrows."
Justification of Symbols
The flag of the Narovchatsky Village Council was developed on the basis of the coat of arms of the city of Narovchat Penza Viceroyalty , the highest approved on May 28 ( June 8 ), 1781 . The original description of the historical coat of arms reads:
In the first part of the shield is the coat of arms of Penza. In the second - in the blue field of the mountain, on which the newly conceived beast burrows are visible, meaning the name of this city.
The image of the mountain also shows Mount Ploskoy, located near Narovchat, inside of which in different directions caves are excavated with a total length of more than 670 meters, located in three tiers in the form of vaulted corridor passages up to two meters high and up to one meter wide. At the foot of the mountain a sacred spring is knocked out. This is a place of pilgrimage for many tourists and Orthodox believers, since from the middle of the 18th century until 1917 the Cave Monastery was located here.
White color (silver) is a symbol of purity, perfection, peace and mutual understanding.
Blue color is a symbol of honor, nobility, spirituality.
Black color is a symbol of modesty, wisdom, eternity of being.
