The administrative center is the village of Glodnevo .
History
Glodnevsky district was formed on the territorial basis of the enlarged Glodnevsky volost of Dmitrovsky district of the Oryol province .
On May 14, 1928, a decree of the All - Russian Central Executive Committee and the Council of People's Commissars of the RSFSR was adopted on the formation of the Central Black Earth Region (CCO) with a center in the city of Voronezh , where the entire territory of the Oryol province was to enter.
On July 30, 1928, the network of the Central Black Sea District was approved, including Glodnevsky District .
By a resolution of the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of June 17, 1929 , the Glodnevsky District was transferred from the Oryol District of the Central Black Earth Region to the Bryansk District of the Western Region , [1] where it was disbanded and annexed to the Brasov District .
