Croatia participated in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China for the fifth time in its history, and won three silver and three gold medals. The national team consisted of 99 athletes (80 men, 19 women).

Table tennis competitions were held in a play-off system . Each match lasted until one of the tennis players won 4 games. The strongest 16 athletes started the competition from the third round, the next 16 by rating started from the second round.
