Area
The Persian sturgeon lives in the middle and southern parts of the Caspian Sea . Less common in the northern part of the Caspian and eastern Black Sea [3] . It spawns in the Volga , Ural , Sefidrud , Kura , Inguri , Rioni and other rivers [4] .
